July 7th Western Ky State Fair....

Granny decided to treat the boys to a day/night at the fair. They rode everything- over and over and over, ate all kinds of cool fair foods, played with lots of other kids- mostly cute little blonde haired girls! Then they rode some more rides. We finally got to leave after 10pm with cotton candy in hand. We figured it had been hot and they had gone for hours on end they would crash on the way home- didn't happen! They were wired up and told Frank all about it when we got home then talked half the night to boot! They did sleep until nearly 11 the next day though!

love those big brown eyes Jakey!
Headed out after a LONG evening at the fair!
Jake picking up ducks- he won a pink bunny and a fish (at least I think it was a fish, it was tossed aside as soon as we got it home!) Josh won a pink bunny and a wolf that he ditched when we got home too. $20 well spent! gotta love the fair!

Josh in the Nemo fish ride.

This was Jake's favorite ride. He pointed to it when we came in and said that is the ride he wanted to ride. He knew what he was talking about. I bet he rode it 30 times!! The girl that was running the ride didn't bother to take him out of his bucket and she would spin it several times before she started it going so it would spin the entire time. I don't know how he stood it!! Josh rode it off and on and we would take turns taking him to ride other things while Jake stayed on the spinning buckets! What a fun time we had!!!

I even met up with one of my old girlfriends at the fair! Cindy and I went to school together all through grade school and high school. She has always been a good friend and I was glad to get to catch up with her again. We hadn't seen each other since our 10 year reunion! That is her daughter- the drama queen as she calls her next to her! ;)
