Preschool Field Trip to Trenton

I stopped on the way home and took this picture of this old barn. The boys thought I had lost my marbles.
Playing at the playground after lunch in the park
Josh and Lexie having some ice cream.
Jake playing with some of his classmates...
Jake climbing on the playground
cancelling letters at the Trenton post office...
Learning about stamps at the post office...
Turnout gear ready to go at the Trenton Fire Department...
Mr. Wade helping Jake with the waterhose....
I went with the boys on their field trip to the nearby town of Trenton. They went to the Dr's office, the bank, the post office, the fire station, city hall, and Golden Theads which is a home decorating store where they do custom sewing. They both had to stay with their classes so I went back and forth trying to get pictures of them in different places. The firestation was definitely the hit of the day! After touring all the places and learning more about each one they went to the park for a picnic and they got to play on the playground. It was a lot of fun. I can't believe the boys are going to be in Kindergarten next year!!!
Jake loved pressing the buttons for the siren...
Jake having a blast!
Josh spraying the hose...

Planning for the next Birthday party!

The boys just had their birthday party in March and Josh is already busy planning for the next party! They love the Birthday Express catalog!!!!

Playdate with Roo and Rissa!!

Ruben was here and went with me to get the boys off the bus today. I didn't tell them he was coming so it was a fun surprise. He is in preschool in Hopkinsville and they are on spring break this week so Kiesha brought Marissa and Ruben over to play.
They made necklaces and had a great time looking at all the beads and deciding which ones to use.
Kiesha with Jake
Ruben had a lot of fun stringing his necklace and "Baby Rissa" had fun playing with the tape!
Kiesha with Josh

Josh and Jake are working hard on their necklaces. This was a lot of fun and kept them busy. We're planning to dye Easter Eggs on Friday. That has become a tradition with all of the kiddos- we started before Marissa was born!

Granny's Birthday Brownies!

When I asked the boys what dessert we should have for Granny's birthday Jake said cheesecake and Josh said brownies. We ended up having cheesecake brownies so everyone was happy! HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANNY!!!!
