The boys had been sick back and forth for a couple of weeks before their birthday so we kept putting off inviting people because we weren't sure if they would be over their colds or not. So we decided the day before to go ahead with the party! I stayed home from Sunday School and did the decorating and they went with Frank to their class and I met them at church. So they came home to a Surprise party!!!

Playing with the new train...
Ashley helped the boys get batteries in the crazy train set. We went through an entire pack of batteries from Sam's club! Pokey was our official birthday party photogapher and she did a great job as always!
trying out the new geo trax train set above and sitting with Grandma and Granny below..
The boys say they are finally 5!! When they turned three they had trouble showing three fingers and they said they would "just tell people they were 5 because that was easier to make with your fingers!"
somehow the pinata isn't so challenging with just two people trying to open it!
Happy with the new Wii game...
Jake found a package that wasn't on the table- the new train set!!!
checking out the new game...
opening gifts.... those batteries were very handy when we got the train set opened up!

Happy Birthday Brother!
Mario and Luigi party for my Wii crazed boys! Jake on the left, Josh on the right. Next year I'm going to remember to not purchase everything in the same color- balloons, tablecloth, shirts... somehow we ended up with a red theme in addition to Mario!
Jake loves Luigi and Josh loves Mario so this cake was perfect for them! I ordered the topper on ebay and put it on the cake... things have come a long way!
Ready to get on their Mario Shirts and Party! actually, they look more ready for a nap! ;)
