Playdate with Roo and "Baby" Rissa - 7/21
What a fun time! The boys have been friends for several years now. It has been a lot of fun watching them grow up together. They always have a blast when they are together and Kiesha and I get in some good Mommy conversation which is always welcome. One of these days I know she is going to leave "Baby" Rissa with us- she has threatened many times. ;) The boys are looking forward to that day! lol!
Our Weekend on the Lake....
Two wheel scooters.... 7/17
Josh, Our crazy cat Daisy... she thinks she is a celebrity now that she was featured in the local paper's photo contest.... lol!
Jake...the boys are pros on their two wheel scooters. They are ready to retire the three wheel Diego and Spiderman scooters that they loved so much last year. They are growing up too fast!
Josh above, Jake below. Jake can run the wheels off this thing!! He found his at a yard sale during the 400 mile yardsale a while back- he paid with his own money and even negotiated a deal! He paid $8. for the scooter and an extra bag of wheels. He loves loves loves to yard sale! Josh got his a little later at Walmart for $19 with our money! LOL!

Feeding the ducks.... or NOT! Dunbar Cave 7/15
The ducks weren't real excited about the new sign that was being posted as we pulled in.... with a bag filled with about 5 loaves of bread that we planned to feed them. :(
Jake trying to reach the upper wall of the cave....
It was hot and steamy and rainy all at the same time- We had fun no matter what the weather!
While my friend Pokey (aka: Angela Orr) was on vacation we decided to get out and do some fun stuff that would of course allow us to take pictures to scrapbook. ;) I had been saving bread so we could go and feed the ducks at Dunbar Cave and as we got there we saw one of the park guys putting up a sign that said "no feeding the waterfowl". So much for feeding the ducks! We decided to walk back to the cave and look around. It was a pretty walk until the rain blew up- soaking rain!! Not to be outdone we got to the end of the path near the opening of the cave and had our own photo shoot.
