Ready for school this morning....

Jake and Josh all ready for a fun day at kindergarten.
Jake above and Josh below...

Josh and Jake try to accomodate my need to capture every moment and they let me take their pictures when I ask. Sometimes I get smiles, sometimes not so much. This morning they did great! I love these boys!!!

Jake was excited he got to wear the new flip flops I got them yesterday. They LOVE flip flops! Josh has gym today so he had to wear some shoes he can run it.

Have you ever seen anyone so excited about new scissors?

Josh is tickled over his new scissors. If only it were always this easy to be happy!

Sharing the road...

In our town we share the road with the local Mennonites. My friend Carolyn is in awe of them so these pictures are for her. Love ya Carolyn! ;)

Cute boys- all ready for kindergarten

The boys love it when it has rained overnight and I drive them to the end of the driveway to catch the bus. I love it when it is dry and we walk down and they sit on my lap and I can steal some last minute hugs before the bus comes. Luckily we have a mixture of mornings and everyone is happy!

The view from where I sit....

After school this is what I see every day. I get a quick update on what the boys did at school then Josh plays the Wii and Jake watches, jumps up and down, waves his arms around, and sometimes Josh even lets him play! Their favorite game at the moment is Wii Resort. Old favorites are anything Mario related and Thrillville.

September 1st- Jeans for school- Hello Fall!

Josh in red, Jake in blue. All ready for school. This is their first day wearing jeans to school. Fall weather is well on it's way!

Singing in the choir

The boys love to sing in the adult choir at church now- along with the children's choir. I think they will have a lot more fun with it when they learn to read and can sing everything. ;) I love that they are excited about going to church and that they love to sing.

Frank and the boys....

Frank and the boys on his birthday back in June. I finally found the memory card with these pictures and had to share them.

Josh picked out a Rocket Pop and Jake got an Oreo drumstick. Josh wasn't excited about the rocket pop after he saw what Jake got. He tried to trade Jake out of his ice cream but he said he wanted the one he picked out. Josh got aggravated and made him take his, so.... Jake ended up eating with both hands and Josh just ended up mad! lol!
Jake cracking up Grandma Pat. :)

Flowers in our Yard- 8/28

Having fun with my boys!

Jake above. The boys have played in this wagon for years. They used to ride in it together, now they take turns pushing each other around in it. Jake is a busy boy and always wants to be doing something. I wish I had his energy! Josh is perfectly content playing the Wii and it's hard to pull him away from it. He wants to be Toad from Mario Brothers for Halloween. Jake plans on being Luigi. :)

Ashley's 17th Birthday...

Jake, Josh and Ashley above. Josh, Kevin and Jake below....
I can't believe one of my best friends in the world has a 17 year old daughter! We all had fun at her party. Ashley is always wonderful with the boys and they think she is the greatest thing going!

Mikayla and Nanette visit

Our friend Nanette visited with her daughter Mikayla as they were driving from Mass. to Texas. The boys now have a new big sister. ;)

First day of Kindergarten!!! 8-12-09

Josh in yellow, Jake in blue. I can't believe they are ready for their first day of kindergarten!!!
Granny is always there when we need her. She got up early to help me get the boys to their first day. It is hard to run back and forth between the classes to get them both settled so having extra help is always wonderful. It was nice to have her there for me on the way home too!
